Meet Kevin George: Lewisham has a dynamic and young Public Heath Team and they are keen to get out in front of Lewisham’s looming health problems.
They have planned a series of Health Talks at Lewisham Library, 7-8pm.
Kevin George, former West Ham and Charlton footballer turnedhuman behaviour specialist and best-selling author of “Soccology” considers what elite athletes must overcome if they are to recover and continue to achieve excellence in their sport.
– What factors influence a player’s performance on the pitch?
– What really goes on in the hearts and minds of professional footballers, their managers and coaches?
He also looks at the role of childhood, feelings, environment and lifestyle on a player’s mind set and how to use a player-centred approach to get optimum results
